If a politician says corporate greed is the only reason you’re poor or can’t afford things, they’re gaslighting you
If a politician tells you you need to buy less things and it’s ok to not have 30 dolls, while accepting bribes from foreign governments and giving inside deals via shitcoins and selective tax breaks, they’re gaslighting you
TLDR politicians aren’t gonna save us?
No.
They can do some good things that return more rights and freedoms to people.
But the capture is pretty far gone.
Profit extraction is definitely at the core of a lot of issues.
A market economy produces for whoever has money to buy things. Hence the less average workers get from the pie the less the economic output will go towards their needs
