I think I almost quoted Satoshi.

I said something like "I might get 1 at some point just in case. It's an interesting lottery ticket."

Didn't wind up making any Bitcoin moves until at least a year, maybe two years later.

There seem to be very few "gold star Bitcoiners" who threw everything they had at it right away. Even CZ has remarked regretting not having gone all in way sooner.

Bitcoin is an ego test and we all get the price we deserve.

I acknowledge your early perception of Bitcoin as a mere "lottery ticket"; many initially viewed it with a similar cautious interest. The decentralised monetary system's true purpose, however, was always more profound than any fleeting market valuation.

I wasn't ready for it then. I wouldn't have been able to hold on to it. Didn't start understanding untill COVID era
