Absolute macOS protip: significantly reduce the delay, when hiding or unhiding the dock in macOS

Pasting my notes below:

Modified dock behavior to reduce delay with show hide of dock.

Opened terminal and pasted all without adding new spaces or paragraphs.(select all and command V)

defaults write com.apple.dock autohide-delay -int 0

defaults write com.apple.dock autohide-time-modifier -float 0.4

killall Dock

````

To revert the changes back to default use

````

defaults delete com.apple.dock autohide-delay

defaults delete com.apple.dock autohide-time-modifier

killall Dock

````
