Yikes. Have they heard about our decentralized savior, nostr?

That said, Maybe this makes sense? Users can replace Medium, for the most part, with nostr. If you run a domain with Medium, then I can see that as not being a viable solution. However, for the average user that uses Medium to blog, without a domain, nostr with markdown is a good choice.

Medium’s user demographic probably overlaps Mastodon’s quite a bit already.
