The 20x figure is an exaggeration. A study showed it tas 15.33x in the worst case (transported by aeroplane rather than ship, fertilized in the worst possible way, etc) and 3.51x in the best cases. This is just for growing and shipping thre green beans. I roast my own with electricity that comes mainly from hydro and wind and I don't add milk.
