Why is Amethyst using also the recommended relays (not only selected ones) on phone A with app from F-Droid,
and
using only the selected relays on phone B with app from playstore/aurora?
The relay list is the same though, just one app uses the recommended relays, the other dont.
Are you sure it is actually using those recommended relays and not just recommending them to you?

100%. I see posts from those relays. Quite weird. Also see your note was posted on Damus relay, while it is a recommended relay only. It seems like they are handled as a general relay, however they are not added as such.
