Couldn’t get snort poll to work for me. And all of my messages in Snort read error. It doesn’t love me using the Chrome app/ chromebook. I need a new laptop.

So here’s the poll not poll.

Chicken Coop Question

We have 15 hens and 16, 3-week old chicks. We have expanded our coop every year because, chicken math. We do have a way to section off part of the chicken yard for them until they are big enough.

Should we:

A) section off a portion of our existing coop/hoop structure and add roosts for the babies? (see top pics)

B) use the extra hoop structure with green canvas top plus one or both of our little chicken house/tractors? (middle pics)

C) use the extra hoop structure with green top and add an enclosed coop portion inside it. (Still middle pics)

D) commandeer my 8x8 wired, insulated, drywalled She-Shed and turn it into a coop. (Bottom pics. Hubs says it is too nice for chickens).

E) another idea

I’d choose C. Less chance of predation by bigger chickens or wild animals. Maybe move the little tractor inside the hoop house. Less work that way. 😇
