There's a feature unique to Mastodon that I appreciated. The auto-delete. It will delete posts older than a specified amount of time.
C'mon nobody must feel that important to think that someone's going to go through your old posts from further than a week ago or even yesterday. Who are you kidding.
Makes sense! #Nostr relays should also purge posts beyond a point. Why keep piling up data?
Yea! I'm sure there's got be a scheduled purge that happens that is not up to you but whoever is running the relay.
Generally true, but I think if my father or grandfather had a nostr, I'd like to see what they were thinking about at my age.

i hate it when i am searching something on my older posts and i can't find it.
This feature if ever implemented, should be on post basis, not in general only
