Good question! You know she's my lil ride or die. No plastic bubble for moxie. In addition to her harness, she has her seat atop the pack :)

Good friend of mine does alot of hiking with his cat, a Maine Coon if I'm not mistaken, which perches on his shoulders in its harness effortlessly.
Takes some time and training but its always a fun and fullfilling experience.
