I know that if I could afford to buy paintings, I wouldn't wait for them to go on sale, if I (and my wife) liked it, we would buy it.

I don't know how much your paintings cost, I have never look , I already know that no matter how much I love them, I can't afford to buy them...yet...

I think these other comments are right that you shouldn't sell yourself short, and also that you shouldn't be discouraged. Keep refining your craft, and keep exploring new ways to market your art, and also your skills. You might paint landscapes of people's own land for them...

I really appreciate your art, and hope to build myself a strawbale house and hang paintings on every wall!
