You’re using AI like how my brother did when I showed him ChatGPT. He would use it for anything and ask poor questions (or just a single simple question) then either (1) tell me he has proof AI sucks or (2) use what it said to try and prove me wrong on some topic or (3) use it to draw these wild conclusions.
I don’t see a problem with the AI reply. Could you provide more detail in sussing out what you’re getting at? For example, pretend you’re a lawyer in court and you’re asking a witness. Use multiple steps to establish a foundation and then probe deeper into the topic in order to inquire further. Use a well-structured prompt as a framework in order to get a formatted answer and behavior that you want, then avoid broad open questions
How do you suggest I ask where oil comes from?
My problem isn't with the reply or AI. It's the fact that the origins of oil are theories. Yet my government believes that man made global warming is a fact.
You’re using the word theories wrong
The germ theory of disease is a theory, and has also been proven.
Also, if governments are responsive to the people, it can correct its views over time
Well I very much believe in Terrain theory now. So.....
