Yeah, Life of Pi was one I enjoyed, liked the movie too. The thing I liked most about it was how he had to use his brain to survive to figure out things. Also loved "Cast Away"...wasn't a book, but same theme. Speaking of which, the Donner party book reminded me of a theme in many of these: do I stay here and try to survive or get in my raft and get off this island make a run for it. That's where I am in the book now...stay in snow until it melts or try to walk out of it.
