Nostr should definitely import the culture of putting alt text on everything from fedi.
Also, I’m pretty sure scan and verify messages refers to signing messages with your cryptocurrency wallet’s private key

I guess the part I'm confused about is the Messages bit. Is it turning into a messaging app or something? That's what I'm confused on.
I hope not. The message signing thing is mainly used to prove that you own an address from what I can tell. Someone can ask you to sign a random number or something and then verify that it was in fact signed by that address.
