It's hard to pinpoint specifics or else it would be easy to call them out and no one would participate. That's why I think it's something one has to experience in order to be convinced of it.

There are things that can be pointed to though. GameStop, exchanges 'crashing' at convenient times, positive news just before a mass liquidation, repeated unrealistic price predictions from institutions at market tops, just to name a few things.
