There is nothing preventing someone from doing that now. It’s a step backwards. It reintroduces all the issues that people face with payments on existing social networks like X, and it does nothing to solve for the global nature of a network like Nostr where even at this stage there are people from all over the world interacting and transacting. Cashapp, PayPal, etc, don’t solve for that, and forget about micro transactions between those networks using legacy financial systems. You seem intent on being obtuse about things that are obvious. This thread is becoming a waste of time. Good luck with your experiment.

maybe nostr will be used as a protocol to attract more people to bitcoin and maybe that’s fine if it does that; a shitposting/bitcoin circular economy has some legs already
