anyways with a few exemptions the discovery is still purely on users in Nostr. I had great success of finding my peeps like this: scroll through a hashtag a day, till i find 1-2 interesting profiles, follow and look through their follow list. I found a bunch of fellow artists this way. Also, comment on posts and start a conversation yourself. Before you make some connections just tag people you are interested to interact with in your post. I’d say people answered my posts about 90% of times including some “big public figures” though must say nostr:npub1jt97tpsul3fp8hvf7zn0vzzysmu9umcrel4hpgflg4vnsytyxwuqt8la9y still didn’t answer to accept a present 🎁 🤓
