Because he's a realist. The majority of people will never custody their own bitcoin. We know this because of the history of money. It's why banks were invented. Just because it's doable doesn't mean everyone will do it.

Can't wait for those banks to go down along with all their custody bitcoin and with all the savers keeping bitcoin in those banks.

Swiss banks are transitioning to Bitcoin custody vaults. I personally don't ever see banks going away entirely. I see the more likely scenario that they'll adapt to stay relevant in a world that doesn't need them.

Let them buy gold not bitcoin. Or ETFs, not Bitcoin.

Bitcoin in the bank is not your bitcoin and that's it 🤷🏻.
