whether Iran is a force for good or Evil is probably subjective. their human rights record is trash but they are / were one of the only counter-balancing forces to the Great Satan and the Little Satan ( US and Israel ).

I would love for Iran to wipe Israel off the face of the earth but they are sadly too weak for that. If they won't destroy Israel, then do they have any legitimate role to play except oppressing women and homosexuals ?

In fact if you are representative of any nation then you can't possibly be as intelligent as me because true philosophers like myself always stand alone.

i agree that when judging others we should treat them not as a numeric value, but as a range of potential values from their worst to their best. if you judge somebody by the lowest end of their range you're being bitter and lowering yourself more than them.

that said the range is finite. if somebody says George St. Fentanyl Floyd could have been an Astronaut they are making things awkward for everybody.
