Can be very successful if well targeted. Absolutely needs critical mass.
Forcing somebody to work against their will is slavery, so hard to justify crackdown against strikers as long as they are peaceful.

5. Boycott
Very effective with enough publicity, critical mass. Short duration is key - give target an easy way to end it. Better a small, quick victory than a long fight that loses focus.
