Nice. Still having issues with Podping on PeerTube but I'll keep trying to work it out...
Can you link the show thru the index?
Yes but it seems like I have to email Dave each time to update, that's not right is it? The plugin on PeerTube updates regular RSS feeds but not PC2 ones it seems, or at least not on Podverse, Overcast works fine but not Boostergrams etc.
But I email Dave and it magically updates! I don't want to be bugging him all the time, especially seeing it's a daily show!
Look up the show in the link I provided, in the URL to your show you will see an ID number:

Take the ID and paste it into this link:

That is one method of sending a podping. You can go to https://sovereignfeeds.com/, find your feed, and click podping on the left hand column. The IRC Zeronode network also has a command in the chat where you can !live !end or !podping a Podcast Index ID i.e. !live 150842

My dull brain never found the instructions... PeerTube has a plugin that supposedly does PodPing but it doesn't work, I did try letting the dev know but they ignored my on Github. So glad I can just do it myself.
Yup that's correct, any time you wanna podping you hit that link.
What I'm not sure about is how well it works for live notifications for going live in supporting apps.
Typically, I use Sovereign Feeds, the IRC chat, or Podverse Admin podping to push thru a "hey this feed is now going live" podping rather than a "hey this feed has changed (due to new episode)". What I'm getting at is if you fail to see going live notifications try a live podping.
