The greatest parenting lesson I learned over 31 years (so far) of raising 3 sons was embracing the absolute necessity of my own constant change, and I mean core, fundamental change. I had to, a number of times, humble myself and dismantle my own well intentioned parenting ideologies and replace them with the next iteration. I don’t mean small tweaks, I mean core principles. As a parent looking back, my own change was key 🤷♂️
