My advice is follow more people, engage in more conversation and enjoy the natural chronological communication.

The fundamentals:
You can move between any client to use any feature with your nsec
No single client owns your profile, you own it and it moves with you
You control what relays you read from and no single central relay owns the network
There is no algo to manipulate you
Nostr is permissionless and censorship resistant, you can't be banned
There is now a bitcoin payment layer built into the social layer
Nostr is a global social payment network
without kyc or perosonally identifying info
Anyone in the world can create a profile and immediatley receive bitcoin payments
Nostr is onboarding bitcoin adaption by focusing on value for value by zapping content rather than just likes

So much of the legacy social media paradigm was concocted around closed source prisons selling data, enticing users with ideas of virality and virtue signalling. Nostr incentives positive human to human interactions with verifieable signatures. Open uncensorable communication allows the truth to reveal itself.
