honestly, after 3 chapters of Genesis i'm wondering how anyone reads it and doesn't get it that God and The Lord God are not the same entity and how the Serpent isn't near equal in influence and power as The Lord God in the world where Eden is (which is to the East) and it literally names Ethiopia as being nearby! and 3 other places that are known to be further northeast in the middle east/red sea area

first: it's history

second: adam was "picked up out of the dust" not created from it, must have been an especially intelligent and curious individual among the hunter gatherers living in the northeast of africa

third: even was probably a volunteer from the nearby area

fourth: it's absolutely mindblowing how much deceptive gambits i read described in the first book of the bible and its auxilliary versions, eg isaac, jacob and esau... and the whole play of "she's my sister" that is played out three times, twice by abraham and once by jacob

also, clearly satan was a physical dude, as was all the other angels, for why else would they enjoy to eat bbq
