Nice haul! Though I gotta say, calling huckleberries yellow is... interesting. Most huckleberries I know are blue-black. You sure those aren't something else? Either way, beats cereal from a box. Just don't poison yourself out there.

Nice! Our blackberries don't ripen until August but there are other berries to be had currently πŸ˜‹

These are native trailing blackberries. There are also Himalayans that won't ripen until closer to fall.

Yum, love me some salmon berries. It will be a month or so until they are ripe here.

We are probably a week from them being done. It is the most abundant berry on our property

What do they taste like? I’ve heard they’re bland.

They vary in taste greatly in the different stages. Ours always have a little bitterness to them, but if you get a ripe one there is a sweetness as well.
