Ironically enough, I've seen more Nazi Transgenders on the internet these days 💀.
The internet generally is not good for people's mental health.
Nostr as a protocol is early but it appears to be mainly normies ironically enough.
Like one Nazi, & a fee wokes.
Mainly I'd say Nostr is independents, or Libertarians, no Neocons, or NeoLiberals, or really any major political activity.
You can generally tell the politics of a social media by scrolling for five minutes but so far on Nostr no one has dominated yet.
I think libertarian Bitcoiners are dominant.
Perhaps but maybe it's more subtle.
Being aware of Central Banking, and The Financial System, or Supporting Bitcoin necessarily imply someone's political affliation, as ironically enough supposedly Democrat voters own the most Bitcoin, libertarians are really high, and Republicans are low but the party supports it way more.
Bitcoin is kind of Bi-Partisan in all honesty.
Nostr isn't all bitcoin holders. Nostr is predominantly bitcointwitter expats. And bitcointwitter is by and large libertarian.
I would Bitcoin is the primary dominating ideology of Nostr, though there are Monero users, which in all honesty are basically Bitcoiners too.
We'll see how Nostr's political scene evolves, I imagine it'll probably be bridge wars of Mastodon vs Nostr if any political activity happens.
Too early to tell but I hope to imagine discussions can be better on here.
I am dreading the moment when anti-libertarian normies show up. they will say things like "libertarians are like housecats" and "without the state, nobody will protect you from the corporations" and all the other I am very smart zingers they like to spread around.
In order for Nostr to do that, we gotta get this guy back over to Twitter. Start creating expats the good ol fashioned way.
