what happens when you decide to refuse the return? in business, and patriarchally, the beckoning to soothe your ego. "no one can do it but you". which is probably true. but consider the toll. what if jobs refused to return to apple? would he be healthy/alive? what if jack did not return to twitter? when your political opponents beg you to reconsider (as thinly-veiled threats) and pet your ego: your humility and investment in what you chose to do instead will save you. jobs was not a technician; and did not like his profession in computers. "we will kill you". i bet you won't.
