Profoundly disappointed with the lack of”mom and pop” owned stores anywhere.

Growing up near our part of the gulag, we had seemingly endless variety. Now, in my home town and all of the US, you can count on the same 15 stores being in every shopping center.

I just want to buy some pig ears for my dog without giving money to another giant corp.

Fix the money, fix the world.

This is a soul crushing reality of the U.S. gulag (I’m sure many other gulags too).

We Bitcoiner’s have to build the opposing amplitude of the sine wave of small businesses after our capital accumulation phase is sufficiently far enough along.

get out of the big cities, in the small places small businesses are everywhere, they have to be

in eastern europe i spent a lot of time and shopkeeping was still a common employment, both owners and staff, and not only chains but many little places

it's a sign you are in a bad place when it seems like you are in a socialist gulag - where only authorised operators do business, it means GET OUT

really, i'm not foolin here... this is why i patronise my little local places in preference to the big chain down the hill if at all possible... i even mainly go down there to pull cash so i can come back up here to pay for stuff

We are all in the gulag comrade. Thank you for the in depth and helpful response. To the mountains we must go
