I use #Lemmy!

I know lol you use our news community and lot on hilariouschaos.com how's it going?

It's going great! Work has slowed a bit today but I'm still digging in and trying to get stuff done, and I'll be watching the #CFB #CFP later today so I'm hype! HBU?

That's cool! Just putting my laundry up nothing fun lol

I like lemmy but it’s not encrypted, and you can lose your account if the instance you created it at goes away - those are reasons I came here and a lot of other things

There's zapddit.com, but I've never used it

This IS my Reddit alternative.

Well, technically it's my Funnyjunk alternative, but whatever.

Is funnyjunk a website?

Yes. Funnyjunk.com . All the users think it's a pretty good place for free speech, but my experiences have been much more... sketchy. Strange "bugs" preventing me from posting across 3 accounts in a row, very shortly after getting a lot of mod attention, without any ban messages. The same thing happened at the same time to someone I was associating with. Nobody there has any idea people are being censored like me, and I noticed a few other more... controverisal users disappearing at around the same time as me.

The user experience is great. I just wish Admin was more transparent. Tell the users what is and isn't allowed instead of secretly shadowbanning them without warning or explanation or indication to anyone else.

Yea I checked it out seems interesting

There are some nostr implementations and NIPs for it, but it's far behind the progress #lemmy folks have made.

Found it and it works well https://stacker.news/r/we_can_supply_you
