I hear quality beet juice is a magical elixir of sorts, anyone have any experience? Think I’m gonna give it a whirl. #asknostr

Idk about regular beet juice but we like to drink leftover pickled beet juice. Sometimes I water it down with carbonated water & add maple syrup and it makes a pickled beet juice soda. Weird but kinda good

Now that sounds like an elixir! I’d test it out.

Maybe add some of the honey and white onion cough medicine I’ve been keeping in a jar on nostr:npub1ng8zqsa04gzk5y4ch0nh43xrrpwqu27ydvf24s2cdzg5gv3upc7qycqjc0's recommendation.

Perhaps this is the potion of immortality?

I’d say it’s worth a shot

I may do a full glass

It's delicious too

Heard the pure stuff is sorta grassy, earthy tasting? Somehow I think of how carrot juice has that slight sweetness.

Depends on the beats, but can mix with carrot and apple to sweeten. Some beets are actually incredibly sweet juices

Sweet beets you say… interesting.

My wife’s Polish family makes a fermented beet juice that they swear by for all sorts of health benefits. I think they are nuts, but I eat beef organs, and they think I’m nuts. We are probably both right.

There’s only one solution. Beet fed beef.

Haha. I shudder to think how that would turn out.

I saw this recipe for beef heart tartare today… looks good to me.

INGREDIENTS

10-12oz beef heart, partially thawed

2 T capers, rinsed and diced

1 small shallot, diced

1/2 small roasted beet, diced

1 2 oz can of anchovies, diced

1/2 fermented pickle, diced

1 T chopped parsley

1 t Dijon mustard

salt and pepper, optional

4 egg yolks

sourdough bread, sliced and toasted

Dang. I may try that out. Check both boxes. Thank you, sir.

I’ve been curious too , people say it’s magic for blood pressure. Keep us posted! #nostrwisdom
