Anyone planning to run, or already running, a home server with bitcoin node and related tools on a Raspberry Pi 5? The 8GB version should be widely available next month for $80 USD.😳

I'm looking for any and all thoughts on HW configuration (esp. SSD speed), cooling, best OS for uptime and ease of SW installation/upgrades/maintenance, and low power consumption for 24/7 operation.🙏🏻😃💜😆

I recommend against it, although it is a serious step up from the 4. Easier to use an old desktop/laptop, a pi just doesn’t have the same kind of reliability and resistance to things like boot corruption or power issues.
