I have some questions about plastic so I #asknostr

1. Why not just burn plastic to get rid of the ones that are not recyclable?

2. Is anything I can do at home to make better use of plastic than just letting a waste disposal company dump it somewhere?

3. Come on, can we just burn it instead of letting it reach the ocean?

I could be wrong, but I thought plastic degrades over time in landfills, but burning releases toxic chemicals into the atmosphere.

I was thinking of temperatures high enough that they reduce the toxins too. Everything has a temperature where it breaks. Maybe it can work, I'm sure it can.
