I'm in touch with a super interesting internet privacy project and all I'll say is that it seems like the underlying infrastructure they want to deploy pivoted away from the idea of using a privacy shitcoin to just using Bitcoin + Cashu.

Very happy with swaps to XMR. Don't know why people keep on trying to build privacy in to Bitcoin when the answer is staring people in the face. You don't have to like Monero. It just works.
Yeah I acknowledge the utility of XMR but it wouldn't serve the purpose here in this specific case. Blockchains are inherently too slow and too expensive to use.
If the system mostly needs internal payments and you already trust the provider to actually provide you a service you paid for, ecash wins.
