Ditching your iPhone isn't some kind of "surrender" it's literally how efficient free markets work.
If a product no longer appeals to consumers they have alternatives.
Great thing with Android is even if Google follows Apple (probably will) it doesn't matter. Sideload. Use F-Droid. Grab the APK off GitHub. Run a whole de-googled ROM.
If you really wanna go wild get an open Linux phone like Pinephone.
Completely agree. People act as if they were tied to Apple... They must convince them to do something or so. No, my friend, YOU stop being a customer of them. That's your power. Imagine how Tim Cook would see those kind of "protests". I'm pretty sure it's a massage in his ego. I know, android ain't perfect, but it is open source, and you see how many derivative OSs are around because of that. If you don't understand that, you may didn't understand Bitcoin too...
