Reminder that Australia had a thriving gun culture prior to 1998, and after ONE mass shooting the government managed to get the entire population (with minimal exceptions) to give up their guns; fast forward thirty years later, and Australia is now a commie shithole.

In Latin America, Jair Bolsonaro opened up gun ownership significantly for the Brazilian citizenry; after convicted felon Lula De Silva was systematically installed by Alexandre De Moraes, the first thing done was adding a LatAm flavor to J6-styled persecution towards Bolsonaro supporters protesting a stolen election. Oh, and gun ownership was restricted once more... two years later, and Brazil is on the cusp towards returning to a commie dictatorship with a figurehead as "president."
