How to handle the next "war on bitcoin"?

I can imagine a coinbase hack and Saylor, blackrock and co wants to reset the chain or even worse, make a fork out of it... Foundry reached already more than 40% of the hashrate...

I think nowadays we have much more NGU bitcoiners in the space who might not even care what Saylor and co are doing as long as the price goes up... Nothing alike Fuck You Money, Privacy etc

Good point. BitDevs is technically focused so will not be talking about NGU except for side convos. Might be interesting to discuss technically how soft/hard forks work.

Self custody your Bitcoin

Verify your Bitcoin against your own node

The scenario you describe is only a problem when those two things are absent.
