As a bitcoin nerd, I will put in the time and effort to manage an Alby Hub Lightning node.
But unless it gets more user-friendly, few others are going to to through this effort.

How is it not user friendly? It's fricken simple af.
My Alby node keeps going down and I have to switch my nostr wallet to a custodial wallet over and over.
Realistically, I could spend the time to figure out what’s wrong (and will) but most people are far too lazy and will give up at the first sight of trouble.
agreed
i like Alby and the setup is fine for me but just barely
what do you need to manage? where do you run it?
would love to hear your feedback
I run it on a system76 meerkat running StartOS. I honestly don’t think it’s that hard - I just haven’t put much effort into it. My point is just that if it’s the slightest challenge for me, 99% of normies are never giving it a shot
