Should it be possible to run strfry or nostream on a 2gb cloud instance? Want to run one for my friends without paying 24$ a month for a 4gb instance.
Any other tips for running a high quality relay on the cheap? I do want to self host.

The big clouds are generally pretty expensive, particularly on bandwidth pricing. I’d recommend going with a discount provider like hetzner, ovh, or a smaller one. Usually they offer a bit more bang for your buck on older/less reliable hardware with large bandwidth allowances.
I do run one private instance of strfry on a 2 cpu 2gb vps but I had to temporarily upgrade it to have enough resources to build strfry 😂

Super appreciate the tip. This will be for maybe 30-40 people max, so hoping 2gb might be enough for that
