NOSTRGRAM PERFORMANCE UPDATE - PLEASE REFRESH YOUR BROWSER

Hey everybody. NostrGram has a major upgrade that should help stop the lag and slow times that have been off-and-on today. The site is getting a lot more traffic now (good problem to have) but that means I've had to work to improve things so they run smoothly.

Please refresh the browser to get the update. That will put you into the new system. I will be cutting off the old system from working either late tonight or early tomorrow. I believe the lag is coming from that old system so it's important that everyone switch to the new one.

As always, thank you for using NostrGram and thank you for the ⚡ support. You are all greatly appreciated. 🙏

FWIW: I'm still getting the white blank screen when i try to access Nostrgram. Neither browser refresh nor clearing cookies helped. Thankfully we have multiple clients available with Nostr!

That's odd. I can't think of why that would happen unless your browser has an issue with the new SSL certificate I put into the place for the server. Have you tried closing out completely and restarting the browser?

Browser restart didn't help. I'm using Brave browser. Tried disabling uBlock Origin and Brave's "Shields Up". This is the SSL cert I get.

Well the certificate looks fine. Can you try a different browser to see if the site loads?

I'm still unable to access. Perhaps because I'm coming from IPv6 by default?

Maybe but IPv6 shouldn't stop you from accessing the web sockets server. I'm scratching my head on this one. Any way you can switch to IPv4 and see if you can access then? I apologize for the issues.

Not really sure how to tell a browser to use IPv4. FWIW I've tried Brave, Chrome, and Safari. Same syptoms. White screen with these logos. Strangely when I configure Safari to use "iCloud Private Relay" it works.

Ah I bet you got blocked by the rate limiter. What's the v6 IP? I'll check it and clear it if it got blocked and tweak the settings so they're not as strict. Had some bad bots recently so was a bit more aggressive than maybe I should have been.
