So lets follow his 'logic':
He says that 'young people' shouldn't be taught think for themselves.
Then he reveals that hose 'young people' are college students.
So... adults?
Or at least people who WOULD be adults, if they were able to think for themselves.
So adults shouldn't be able to think for themselves.
So people should just obey him and other 'experts'.
So let's keep that train going.
Where do we get NEW experts? Form these young people.
Where do advancements come from? From the next generation of experts.
What do advancements require? Questioning what we already think we know.
Conclusion - No more advancements are needed. No new theories, no new discoveries. We know all we need to know and can trust in "the science" for ever with no changes.
Yes this line of thinking leads to that conclusion for anyone who can actually think independently. No wonder they hate critical thinking.
