Don’t outsource your thinking.

Every story—about Bitcoin or anything else—comes through filters: agendas, biases, interests.

See with your own eyes. Hear with your own ears.

Then decide.

I came to a hard conclusion.

Most people are not stupid but extreem lazy.

Who doesn't understand that working for pieces of paper that others can just print is stupid to do ?

One would think that thinking is easy, doesn't take much energy, is better than physical labor, etc....

But just look around the opposite is the case.

People rather trust what others say as if thinking things over, rationalize, taking responsibility is way harder than physical labor..

Fitting into society is apparently way more important than being "right".

Believing the system/majority is/must be right is easier than doubting it and conclude it is fucked up, let alone trying to change it.

I have no clue if this is evolution, society or the education system that is responsible ?

So now we have Bitcoin.

A way to get much of our freedom back, without the need of violence.

And it seems that most are just afraid of it ?

As if it is too easy ?

So I sit back.

Realized I don't have to be able to answer these questions.

I'm not responsible for others.

I shouldn't even be proud of it.

We are just lucky to be around at the right time.

For some reason were able to see and bet on it to succeed and so far are proven right.

I don't care if others choose Gold or Monero or gamble on shitcoins.

Most is better than just keep supporting the fiat system.

I can give a quick try to point out how I see it, but I don't even want to try to convince them.

There are only a few things that matter in life.

And those are not the same for everyone.

I don't like others to say to me what I should think, what is right what is wrong.

So why should I tell others ?

I love to talk about it, see different point of views.

But usually it turns out others want to convince me.

So I move on.

It is strange to realize we have this capability to think for ourselves and next to realize most want nothing more than others to do that thinking for them, tell them what to do ?

Or realize that there are many who use that capability to use/abuse others.

To the point some use it to think of ways to exterminate ourself...

Strange world ?

You are absolutely right: people are lazy, or sometimes it’s just easier to let others tell us what to do—it takes less effort. You are also right about being smart and lucky to have believed in and adopted Bitcoin; whether it’s something else later doesn’t matter. What counts is free will and the ability to choose—making a choice because what we see and hear doesn’t satisfy us.
