Onboarding to safebox is as easy as sacnning a qr code

It automatically creates an npub/nsec and a cashu wallet. The user sees none of it. It just works.

The user gets an easy to remember phrase that they can use to log into safebox at any browser at anytime. Everything is encryoted over nostr relays.

No email or personal information. No downloading an app. Create as many safeboxes as you want.

You can connect a safebox to your main nostr npub/nsec and get a free vanity ln address and free nip05. Then connect NWC to your nostr profile.

Create other safeboxes for other things.

The underlying code is amazing. The UX is self admittedly not pretty. More like a trusty nostr swiss army knife. The dev is top tier and honest. This project is way more than a cashu wallet. This along with Amber is where my self created digital self remains secured.

When you scan this it will instant onboard you in a browser. It isn't tied to your current nostr nsec.

It generates an nsec in the background and gives you a simple log in phrase and a backup seed phrase.

Go into the "danger zone" and there you can add your name to get a free custom ln address and a free custom nip05 address.

You will also see a NWC qr code to add to any nostr client.

You don't need to use Amber for safebox as it is isolated.
