Absolutely. That’s the approach that brings the most peace. 🙂

💜 How do you approach life? With long and short term goals and tasks? Or do you follow your gut instinct more. 🤔

A little of both

My approach to life is based almost entirely on the spiritual belief system I subscribe to.

I also feel most at peace when I’m not mindlessly chasing after something, whether it’s a professional goal, a person, or a feeling. It’s that concept of “surrender.”

In regards to my goals, both short and long term, following my intuition has paid off countless times, so I rely more on my inner compass than anything else. The rest is simply going with the flow because my plans have rarely worked out the way I imagined. Better, actually :)

Oh wow, that sounds really interesting, especially as pretty much all of us here in this country are atheistic and non-believers🤔 May I ask which spiritual belief system do you follow?

The concept of “surrendering” seems really interesting, and I would love to know more about it in-depth 💜

I’ve learned to listen and live with my inner compass more and more. My mental health plays a huge part in it, when I’m having a tough day, then my gut feeling is skewed and would love to just sulk and not do anytiing 🤔

I’m Muslim :)

The idea of surrender is simply about making an effort to the extent that you can, and leaving the rest to a higher power, whether that is God, the universe, angels, or whatever people believe in.

It’s about radical acceptance and releasing the need for certainty and control. Letting go of the “musts” and “shoulds” so you can leave room for a divine plan and serendipity.
