I'd think something like this might be useful to make nos2x type signers dynamically switchable. Same with Amber. Also to be really powerful NWC switching paired with the npub.
(Switching npub/wallet in the social clients is ok in the short run but wrong long term for the protocol to be adopted in other applications.)

A good switching tool would help firewall against one's own errors signing with the wrong key.
