“America was never great” crowd just misunderstands why it’s the greatest experiment (so far).
Cost of living never had anything to do with coming to America. It is almost always about fleeing oppressive governments (which cause minimal opportunities).
Non-Americans always point to either the cost of living or lack of handouts.
Your lifestyle/“free” government handouts are currently subsidized by the US military. This gravy train is very close to being over once the USD loses world reserve status.
I hope the gravy train ends soon.
Bankers turned the necessity of land ownership into an investment vehicle.
The long forgotten and nullified 10A would lead to the American dream. Instead of fighting for the ring of power in a pendulum like swing tug-of-war, people decide what they want in the states and they vote with their feet on what community they want to be a part of.
10A is definitely amazing and I’m thankful for it everyday as a NY refugee living in Fl, but it doesn’t make my top 3 for why someone would want to come to the US.
10A is how we get there
