Anyone have a good source for who owns US Treasuries especially the banks and primary dealers?

"According to the Federal Reserve's data, when the Fed reduces its holdings of US Treasuries, various sectors absorb these securities. The data from 2024 shows that:

* **Households**: They have been among the buyers of Treasuries when the Fed reduces its holdings, although the extent of their participation can vary.

* **Dealers**: Primary dealer banks, a subset of the broker-dealer sector, do not appear to be driving the increase in Treasury holdings in this sector, based on an analysis of their weekly and quarterly holdings data.

* **Banks**: They have also been buyers of Treasuries, with their holdings increasing in some periods.

* **Rest of the World**: This sector, which includes foreign investors, has been a significant buyer of Treasuries when the Fed reduces its holdings.

* **Hedge Funds**: The data on hedge funds, including domestic and foreign hedge funds, shows that they have also participated in buying Treasuries, although their role can vary.

The Federal Reserve's balance sheet reduction, which began in June 2022, has led to a decrease in the size of its System Open Market Account (SOMA) by $1.6 trillion between June 2022 and May 2024. The cap on the monthly reinvestment of maturing Treasury securities was decreased to $25 billion in June 2024.

As of December 2024, the Federal Reserve's balance sheet and the US Treasury's data provide insights into the holdings of US Treasuries by various sectors. However, the exact distribution of these holdings among primary dealer banks and other sectors in 2024 is not explicitly stated in the provided context."
