Yeah. Originally the excuse was "well, we didn't build in any particular bias, we just trained it on lots of mainstream media and it's not our fault if the journalists who wrote that were biased". But the jailbreaks (and OpeanAI's patching of that) show that is a lie: it is deliberate censorship, and will cause people to distrust it hugely once the novelty wears off.

You can go through my profile to find posts on here from awhile back where I mention all the chat bots including the new ones by Google, Microsoft, etc. will all be censored to shit to the point none of them will catch on or taken seriously.
