ocotillo blossoms 🌸

We're down to our last 2 bags of dried ocotillo flowers, foraged from our pristine desert property. These beautiful plants have a vibrant and short bloom in the spring, so this is all that we'll have in stock until next summer!

Zap this post 15k sats to claim one (includes the cost of a 1/2 oz bag plus shipping within the United States). The first two zaps will receive our last available stock 🩷

I would love to have some, but know they won’t survive our winters, and I really don’t have room inside for them.

Yeah. They need height and space. Brush up against one and lose some hide!

That's part of why I forage.. Even my friends in the desert don't want to mess with their spines 😄

Did you know that in Big Bend NP an old-timer built a hut from adobe on bottom with ocotillo as the roof? It was porous but did provide shade. Luna’s hut, or something, it was called.

Love it. Our outdoor patio space has ocotillo walls for the shade and to keep our dogs in

Just don’t hug any Teddy Bears out there.

I love the ocotillo! Never thought you could eat one:/flowers.
