I think the US government is scared of bitcoin. It’s superior to a centralized monetary system and anyone with half a brain knows it. The dollar is already fucked on the world stage. The best bet for the government would be to embrace bitcoin (like El Salvador) by getting in early, but they’re too greedy and want more control than what bitcoin can offer them.
