(I'm very trepidatious about mixing high-current tools and inverters ever since I blew up my first inverter by using a corded drill that should have been well under its limits)

Motors can be very electrically noisy with many transients and spikes. The welder is an inverter based unit, so, I don't expect any issues, to be honest.

Yup. But also, the inverter portion of these units are very robust. If I do pop one... I trust the seller to make it right.

Yup. Worst case, I chuck it all and spend eben more money... LOL
