Some of my collection of fiat from all over the world, given to me by my grandfather. Dating as far back as 1908: none of these exist today. It’s shortsighted to think this won’t happen to widely adopted currencies today. Even as collectibles, these really aren’t worth as much as you might think it would be. #Bitcoin fixes this. Hopefully for good.

Wow, I also have old notes and coins collection. Love collecting old and new money :)

Collecting old fiat/silver/gold is a gateway drug to Bitcoin (speaking from personal experience)

I can confirm… same energy for some

Backed by silver lol

My dad gave me one of those as a kid an explained how money used to be backed by gold and silver. He grew up working as a goldsmith's apprentice in Greece as a kid.

He gave you a head start with that info. 🫡

That’s the head start my kiddo has. 🙏

I didn’t understand money at all until I found bitcoin. I’m glad my grandfather gave me these after I learned, having these tangibly validated that believing in bitcoin isn’t crazy
